Product Description
This product is a compound herbicide of bensulfuron-methyl and mefenacet. Among them, bensulfuron-methyl can quickly diffuse in water and be absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds and transferred to all parts of weeds, preventing cell division and growth. Mefenacet is mainly absorbed through coleoptiles and roots and is conducted to the young shoots and tender leaves of weeds, preventing cell division and elongation at the growth points of weeds and ultimately causing plant death. This product is safe for rice within the recommended dosage range. It is effective against major annual weeds in paddy fields such as barnyard grass, monochoria vaginalis, rotala indica, stellaria alsine, cyperus difformis, cyperus iria, echinochloa crus-galli, potamogeton distinctus, scirpus tabernaemontani, and monochoria korsakowii.
ApplicationIt should be used after the rice seedlings are transplanted and acclimatized. Mix the agent with wet fine sand and evenly scatter it in the paddy field. When applying the pesticide, the water layer in the paddy field should be 3-5 centimeters. After applying the pesticide, maintain it for 5-7 days and then return to normal management. At this time, water can be replenished but not drained. The water layer cannot submerge the heart leaves of rice. Floating seedlings are prone to cause phytotoxicity. It can only be used once per crop season.
Precautions1.The field should be harrowed flat. The use effect is poor in dew-covered areas, sandy soil and water-leaking fields.
2. For fields with a large base number of barnyard grass, use the upper limit of the recommended dose; for those with a small base number, use the lower limit.
