Product DescriptionThis product is a plant growth regulator that promotes the maturity of cotton. It is very stable in an acidic medium. However, when the pH is above 4, it decomposes and releases ethylene. Ethephon enters the plant through the leaves, bark, fruits or seeds of the plant, and then is conducted to the effective part and releases ethylene. It can perform the physiological functions of endogenous hormone ethylene, such as promoting the maturity of cotton and the shedding of leaves, dwarfing plants, changing the ratio of male and female flowers, and promoting the early cracking and linting of cotton bolls.Application
- This product should be sprayed on the stems and leaves with 300-500 times liquid during the boll opening period when 70%-80% of cotton bolls are opened, to accelerate the opening of cotton bolls and defoliation. Note to spray evenly.
- This product is suitable for use in dry weather when the temperature is between 16-32°C. If it rains, supplementary application is required. When the temperature is lower than 20°C, the concentration should be appropriately increased.
Precautions- This product decomposes rapidly when encountering alkaline substances. It is prohibited to mix with alkaline pesticides and other substances. It also cannot be diluted with water with strong alkalinity. It should be prepared and used immediately and cannot be stored; otherwise, it will become ineffective.
